You can get to Braeside by Driving from Brisbane, Small Aircraft or Helicopter. Please make sure that we know the approximate time of your arrival, otherwise the manager may not be present when you arrive.

Driving from Brisbane to Braeside

  • Leave Brisbane Airport Terminal following the signs to the city.
  • After 2 roundabouts, be in the left hand lane and turn on to the GATEWAY motorway (1) which leads to the Gold Coast. (cross the gateway bridge - tool)
  • Follow signs to Ipswich/Toowoomba
  • You will veer right to Ipswich/Toowoomba onto another toll.
  • Continue along and you will be on the Ipswich Motorway and pay another toll.
  • Soon after the toll you will merge with the Ipswich Highway and go past Goodna and Redbank.
    Do not
    take the exit which says Toowoomba, you want the next exit after this one.
  • Stay in the left lane to turn onto the CUNNINGHAM HIGHWAY (15) at the 'To Warwick' sign.

Driving from Warwick to Braeside

  • Drive through Warwick and follow the signs to Sydney/Stanthorpe on the NEW ENGLAND HIGHWAY
    At approximately 20Km from Warwick you may notice a small blue sign that says "Braeside" that marks the start of the Braeside locality. You have about 6km to go. This was the original property boundary in the 1800's.
  • Travel 26km on the NEW ENGLAND HIGHWAY and you will see a green sign Crystal Mountain Road 300m
  • Turn right into CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN ROAD (unsealed road)
  • Travel 280m along the road and turn right into the Homestead.
     

Fly in by Helicopter
