Here is a quick guide on what you should bring, warm clothes, hat, insect repellant and any necessary food items, it is about 30km drive to the local supermarket.

Warm clothing
The lowest temperature recorded last winter in the state was −8.9°C at Stanthorpe on 10th July (long term record −10.6°C). Braeside's location near the creek means that we are usually 1 or 2 degrees lower than the official temperature for Stanthorpe. It is not unusual to have a fire going on Christmas day. Please ensure you bring warm clothes, the weather can change quickly.

Hat
A hat is absolutely essential if you want to journey out along the walking tracks.

Insect Repellant
We supply insect repellant, but if you prefer a specific type, please bring it with you. There are *lots* of insects in the Australian bush and you will probably meet all of them.

Necessary Food Items
All residences have full kitchens, so please bring along with you any food & drink items that you require or use our Grocery Service to ensure that all your favorite items are in the kitchen before you arrive.

The Store House
