Braeside Homestead

Truly a testament to the beauty and magnificence of rural Queensland, Braeside Homestead sits majestically overlooking the banks of Turner’s Creek; facing an old 30 metre tall Spanish Oak tree and surrounded by a beautiful rose garden. To the west the Homestead looks across 4 acres of grassy reserve dotted with majestic grey box gums. Enjoy sitting under the Banksia Rose covered arbour and watch the sun set or the clouds roll in during summer storms.
A magnificent 100 year old Wisteria drapes itself along wide verandas losing its leaves just in time to let the sunshine in on those sunny but very cold southern downs mornings. Once and a while it even snows! The Homestead has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen and well stocked wine and beer fridges. Magnificent chandeliers reflect light across the formal lounge, spacious dining room and the famous Braeside turret which reportedly was used to light the way for stage coaches in times gone by.
While staying at the Homestead, enjoy the exclusive use of the private garden, tennis court and hot tub.
