The gardens around Braeside are designed to be semi-formal, they were never as intricate as gardens found in English estate homes, but by Australian bush standards at the time, they would have seemed very elegant.
Remnants of the old garden remains, such as the driveway hedge, covered arches and some flower beds around the house. These have been saved and we have reinstated the carriage way as per old documented photos. | | | Plumes of Wisteria at front of the Homestead

In addition, we have created gardens which are sympathetic with the style of the original home. The new gardens include a vegetable garden and herb garden. A formal rose garden with a water feature, three structured flower beds with center pieces, with a path leading down to the creek.
